‘Mothering Sunday 14th March’

Served 12 noon - 3.30pm

2 courses 24.00, 3 courses 28.50

Warm terrine of smoked chicken & Jerusalem artichokes
Jersey crab mayonnaise, green herb salad
Wild mushroom veloute
London cure salmon, celeriac remoulade

Roast leg of lamb with roast potatoes, carrots, purple sprouting, caper & mint sauce
Fillet of seabream, pomme Anna, sauteed spinach, chive beurre blanc
Fricassee of chanterelles, cauliflower salsify & leeks with parmesan
Confit of duck, gratin savoyarde, braised red cabbage

Bakewell tart, clotted cream
Creme brulee
Warm chocolate pudding with vanilla ice cream
Grilled English goat’s cheese with herb salad

We are giving away a posy of spring flowers to all our Mums to celebrate this special day.

On Mothering Sunday we will serve our usual Children’s Sunday Menu 10.95

To celebrate the ‘tuck of the Irish’, join us today for black velvets and traditional Irish stew with colcannon, lunch & dinner.


Easter Weekend

We are open as usual on Good Friday and will be serving traditional fish pie with purple sprouting and a glass of Gee’s bourgogne at lunch and dinner 16.50

On Easter Monday we will be open as usual and serving traditional shepherd’s pie with a glass of house white or red at lunch and dinner 16.50

Potted Jersey crab with warm toast
Gee’s terrine with pickles
Quails’ eggs with hollandaise sauce & puff pastry
Roquefort, pear, endive & walnut salad

Roast new season’s lamb with rosemary roasted new potatoes, spring vegetables, caper & mint sauce
Risotto primavera
Fillet of salmon with purple sprouting & chive beurre blanc
Confit duck leg, gratin savoyarde & curly kale

Rhubarb fool
Bakewell tart, Jersey clotted cream
Petit pots au chocolat
Goat’s cheese beignets, green herb salad
